Chairman Zhou Weiyan was invited to attend the 11th Shanghai "For Children" International Forum

On September 15, 2017, the 11th Shanghai "For Children" International Forum was held in Shanghai. This forum focuses on the theme of "Children and Family Development", discusses the responsibilities of the government, society and families in the growth of children, and provides an opportunity for discussion and exchange to establish and improve a child welfare system. The forum attracted more than 300 experts and scholars from domestic provinces and cities, as well as 14 countries including the United States, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, and Finland. The "Child Development and Friendly City Construction" sub-forum was established for the first time.

Zhou Weiyan, Director of China Child Friendly Community Promotion Program Office, delivered a keynote speech 

The forum covers five sub-forums:

1. "The Framework and Development Path of Child Welfare Policy"

2. "Public Education and Social Responsibility"

3. "Child Development and Friendly City Construction"

4. "Friendly family environment construction and family upbringing"

5. "Welfare Intervention and Child Development"        

Participants from scientific research institutions in universities, front-line teaching fields, and relevant departments and organizations had a lively discussion on the theme, explored the differences between child welfare and family development in various countries, shared practices and research results, and sought to better promote the child welfare system and allow children to grow up healthy Development path.          

Mr. Zhou Weiyan, director of the Office of China Child Friendly Community Promotion Program, was invited to deliver a keynote speech on "China Child Friendly Community Construction Practice and Exploration", sharing a lot of practical experience and top-level design concepts. At the same time, it was announced for the first time that the Everlasting Foundation will soon donate funds, establish the International Institute of Social Work, and build a first-class talent training institution and scientific research institution in the field of social work.
