The eighth meeting of the first council of the Yongzhen Public Welfare Foundation was held in Beijing

On September 25th, the eighth meeting of the first council of Beijing Yongzhen Public Welfare Foundation (hereinafter referred to as Yongzhen) was held in Beijing, and Ms. Zhou Weiyan, Chairman of Beijing Yongzhen Public Welfare Foundation presided over the meeting.
The meeting first briefed Yongzhen's important work progress in the first half of 2017. China's child-friendly community projects have made important progress in three areas around industry leadership, talent training, and model building. The first is the release of the "Guidelines for the Construction of Child-Friendly Communities in China" (draft for comments). The second is to establish the International School of Social Work in cooperation with East China University of Science and Technology. The third is to establish comprehensive cooperation with the government of Meilong Town, Minhang District, Shanghai, integrate the town's resources to build a demonstration site for Chinese child-friendly communities, and incorporate it into Meilong Town's 2018 livelihood project.
In addition, the "Qianmiao Plan" project jointly launched by Yongzhen and China Children and Teenagers' Foundation was officially launched in the first half of the year. The project aims at "inheriting excellent traditional culture and cultivating good Chinese teenagers", and aims to cultivate outstanding Chinese with character. The Qianmiao Plan is based on the principles of fairness, inclusiveness, sharing, and poverty alleviation. It consists of three major value systems: Qianmiao talent selection, Qianmiao cultivation, and Qianmiao database. It will establish well-known domestic education scholars and experts. Qianmiao Research Institute helps Qianmiao database and Qianmiao talents. The Qianmiao Cultivation System will consist of Qianmiao College and Qianmiao School based on the principles of public welfare and inclusiveness. The Qianmiao talent selection system will consist of online preliminary tests, offline retests, and Qianmiao contests. The Qianmiao talents that stand out will be fully trained by the Qianmiao project, including priority admissions to famous schools, internship opportunities in famous enterprises, Qianmiao fund support, and Qianmiao club training. The Qianmiao competition is scheduled to premiere on Wei video channel in September 2018, and the project is currently under intense preparation.
The meeting also briefed Yongzheng on the optimization and adjustment of institutional management, including the appointment of an executive secretary and the establishment of a more diverse and cross-border executive team. Chairman Zhou Weiyan pointed out that with the continuous development of the Evergrande project and the continuous improvement of its influence, Evergrande needs to continuously improve its internal management requirements and increase the participation of its directors.
After discussion and deliberation by all directors and supervisors, the meeting voted and approved the proposal to amend the constitution of Beijing Yongzhen Public Welfare Foundation, as well as the proposal to add two new directors and one new supervisor. The directors and supervisors also provided valuable opinions and suggestions on the work of Yongzheng.
Finally, Chairman Zhou Weiyan summarized the meeting. Ever since its establishment, Yongzhen has been adhering to the original intention and purpose of the organization. From strategic design to project incubation, it has been struggling for many years, and its experience and achievements have been fruitful. We are glad to see that the vision of Eternal Reality is being realized step by step and the team is more mature. During this period, it is inseparable from the persistence of the original heart and the support from many parties. I hope that with the continued support of the directors and supervisors, Yongzhen development will become better and better.
